TWO under 12s girls’ teams at Guiseley Junior Football Club have been kitted out with new equipment and match strips for the new season, thanks to the generosity of local McDonald’s franchisee Jamie Barraclough.
The owner of the Guiseley restaurant recently donated branded footballs, bibs and activity books to the Guiseley Harley Quinn Reds and the Guiseley Harley Quinn Blues. The Blues recently won the U11G’s 7v7 shield in the West Ridings Girls Football League.
Local franchisee Jamie Barraclough, who owns and operates the restaurant in Guiseley, said: “Grassroots football clubs are so important to the local community and offer many opportunities to youngsters throughout the UK. I hope that donating kit and equipment to Guiseley Junior Football Club will help the girls to build upon their recent successes.”
