MEMBERS of the Chevin Watercolour Group have been meeting regularly online via Zoom since March.
Various projects throughout the last seven months have helped to keep the art group motivated and inspired, particularly their latest project which involved each member painting a sunflower. It seemed a suitable project because this stunningly beautiful bloom is known for its positivity and its association with happiness and optimism.
The idea was inspired by the SAA Sunflower Project. The organisation is inviting people across the UK to paint or draw a sunflower and upload an image to create a permanent memorial to those infected by the virus.
