AN INITIATIVE which was set up to help people talk about death is contributing to a giant community collage.
Good Grief Guiseley is giving three small fabric squares to the Codswallop CIC collage - a patchwork which will be a whole community effort acknowledging joy, hopes, thanks, grief, sadness and creativity.
Heather Cooper, who set up the Good Grief cafe with support from the community, said: “We are asking if anyone would like to remember their loved ones in this way there is still time to contribute. Becoming part of our community creativity and expression. Hopefully this will encourage conversation and discussion now and in the future.”
She added: “We are trying to keep the community conversation open so we are more able to reconnect quickly once we have more freedom of movement.”
