LANTERN adventures, a scarecrow trail and a cooking demonstration with Great British Bake-Off contestant Sandy Docherty, are among the half term highlights at Harewood.
A week of activities will be held at the estate from Saturday, October 26 to Sunday, November 3.
Organisers say Harewood’s Autumn Glory is ideal for families and lovers of the outdoors. It will include a number of seasonal cookery demonstrations as well as a lantern adventure when participants will be able to discover the creatures that appear around dusk “the most magical part of the day”.
A scarecrow trail will take place around the park and a Pumpkin Trail will be held across the State Floor.
Youngsters will also be invited to help create an autumnal scene with woodland creatures getting ready for winter. They will be able to enjoy making crafty creatures and a habitat for a hedgehog. Visit www.harewood.org for details.
