TICKETS are selling well for the 2019 Poppy Appeal concert in Otley.
The highly respected Band of the Royal Air Force College will once again headline at the event which this year takes place at Prince Henry’s Gramnar School on Saturday, October 12.
The concert raises thousands for the Royal British Legion each year, and proceeds this time will be going to the Legion’s Battle Back Centre in Shropshire, which helps disabled and injured veterans.
Chelsea Pensioners and representatives from the Gurkhas will be among the special guests on the night, with the music starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £13 and can be booked by calling (01943) 467199, (01943) 872148 or 07716 631583.
The Otley concert has been organised for decades by Irene Willis, an Honorary Citizen of Otley who is a member of the Skipton branch of the Royal British Legion.
