GUISELEY School students are celebrating receiving their hard-earned GCSE results.

Amongst a strong set of results were excellent achievements by a number of students receiving multiple top qualifications of Grade 9.

Alice Bowden received eight Grade 9 qualifications, Liberty Branston and Louis Whitaker both received six, Amber Hull and Scarlet Dawson received five, Annabel Knott and Alfie Thornton received four, with Katie Smith and Kirsten Lloyd both achieving three each. These students and many others received ten GCSE grades each of a quality level.

Headteacher, Paul Clayton, said: "It was lovely to see so many students opening their results today and being delighted with their results. These young people have worked incredibly hard for their passes in a very challenging examination system, they should be delighted with what they have achieved. In particularly it is pleasing to see a rise in the number of students we have achieving the very top grades in subjects. We wish them all the very best for the future.”
