ABOUT 40 people enjoyed a Harvest Huddle in Burley with entertainment and a hot lunch.
The event, at Salem Church Hall on October 20, was organised by the Love Burley team, made up of volunteers from each of the village’s four churches.
A spokeswoman said: “A hot lunch of casserole and crumble was served, and then the guests were entertained by the Burley Ukulele Jammers, who provided fantastic singalong music which had the place rocking.
“This was a great opportunity for some of our senior villagers and others who live alone to come along and share a complimentary hot meal and a lot of fun with old and new friends, and transport was provided for those who have difficulty getting about.”
