A GUIDE Dog owner from Yeadon has thanked local Brownies for their 'amazing' support.
The 2nd Guiseley Methodist Brownies raised £370 for Guide Dogs by completing a sponsored 'peg walk' at Yeadon Tarn in May.
More than 20 girls, aged from seven to nine, took part in the event which involved collecting clothes pegs from various points around the tarn.
The proceeds have now been presented to Guide Dog owner and fundraiser for the charity Kevin Beesting.
Yeadon resident Mr Beesting said: "We are absolutely delighted that the Brownies have raised such an amazing amount of money and we are very grateful to the girls and their families and friends who supported them so generously."
The pack decided to support Guide Dogs after Mr Beesting had gone along to one of their meetings to help them gain their disability awareness badges by explaining what life was like with a guide dog.
