THE traditional countdown to Christmas will commence with the Christmas lights switch-on to be held in Otley Market Place on Monday, November 27.
The festive event will start at 5.30pm with a range of music entertainment provided by local school choirs and bands, street entertainers, Ronnie the Rhino and Otley Brass Band.
The Town Mayor and Otley Carnival Stars will switch on the Christmas lights at 7pm, followed by a spectacular firework finale.
