OTLEY Lions Club has been recognised by Lions Clubs International for their fundraising to support causes internationally.
President Otley Lions Gareth Dibble said: "We are proud to announce that Otley Lions Club CIO have been recognised by Lions Clubs International with this award. When we support international causes we often mention that all funds go directly to the areas of greatest need, where possible to Lions clubs in the area who can put your money to use. LCIF are the people who help make this happen."
Gareth, along with immediate past president Richard Phillips added: "We would like to thank our wonderful community for helping us to support Ukraine, the floods in Pakistan and the earthquake in Turkey/Syria to name a few, without our supporters we could not do all that we do."
