The bellringers at Otley Parish Church will be marking the occasion of the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla with ringing before the ceremony on Saturday, May 6 from 9am to 10 am, and again in the afternoon at 4pm.

In order that all the ringers should have the chance to take part, the morning ringing will consist of 'Rounds and Call Changes' on all eight bells, to include our most recent recruit; the afternoon ringing will be a quarter-peal of Plain Bob Doubles on six bells, which will take about 45 minutes.

While there are no official large Otley events, the Otley Bellman Terry Ford will be issuing a proclamation in Market Place at 2pm on Saturday.

Then on Monday May 8th, it's the Big Help Out Volunteer Day and the town mayor Linda Hoare is hosting a litter pick up. Meet at the Buttercross at 10am to join up.
