AIREBOROUGH Civic Society will welcome Linda Jenkinson to speak on 'The Miracle of Bird Migration' at its next meeting on Thursday, April 27 at 7.30pm at Rawdon Community Library.
The first of the new season’s migrants have already arrived in Leeds. Birdsong is all around us. Linda is founder of Start Birding, Leeds, runs courses locally and will be giving a fascinating talk on bird migration at this time of year.
Admission for ACS Members is free and for non-ACS Members £4 NB.
Visitors can join ACS on the night for £10 annual membership
ACS talks programme for 2023 includes The History of English Canals from 1759 to the present day, June 27; The story of Guiseley Wells, September 26 and Children's favourites from the 1950s, November 28.
