CHURCHES Together in Otley are requesting help in raising the Cross on the Chevin.
This will take place on Saturday, March 25 at 9am in Sinclair Warehouse at the end of Bremner Street, Otley or 9.30am on Otley Chevin.
The Cross is to be taken down on Saturday, April 22 at 9am when help will be needed once more.
On Easter Sunday Morning - April 9 - there will be a Service at the Cross at 7am. Everyone is welcome.
The striking symbol has been an iconic feature of the local landscape at Easter for almost every year since it was first introduced by the Otley Council of Christian Churches in 1969.
