GUISELEY Art club were thrilled with the attendance and sales at their latest exhibition on November 5 and 6.

“We had a fantastic exhibition which was well attended and our sales made it a very successful event, we are all enthused and gearing up for our next exhibition, next year,” said spokesperson Lindsey Marsden.

They would like to thank the public for their kind generosity at such a difficult time, but also their members who collectively pulled together to put on the event and for producing such a wide variety of high quality artwork.

During the event the public voted 'An Autumn Bouquet' by Janis Halliwell and 'Wetlands' by Alan Robey as their favourite painting. Liz Hunt presented them both with the P.J Hunt Trophy.Visitor George Duncan won the draw prize, a water colour painting by Steven Coates.
