A MAN has sadly died after a bus crashed into a lamp post in Otley yesterday.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police reported: "At 4.23pm yesterday, police received a report of a bus colliding with a lamp post in Milner Bank, Otley.
"Emergency services attended the scene as the male driver required urgent medical attention.
"The man, 52, was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene a short time later.
"There are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances around his death and his family have been informed.
"No other injuries were reported.
"Northern Powergrid were also notified as an electricity substation was damaged in the collision."
