Lunchtime diners at the Wetherby Whaler Restaurant in Guiseley were surprised on Monday when a choir burst into song.
Members of the Wharfedale Male Voice Choir had assembled for a lunch to celebrate the end of their Spring singing term and decided to sing around the grand piano.
Having ordered their meal they sang three traditional Male Voice Choir songs to the delight of the other diners. Then when they had enjoyed their lunch they continued by singing some Songs from the Shows which received generous applause from customers and staff alike.
The choir now goes on sabbatical until September but will welcome enquiries from any new members interested in joining them. Contact Secretary Peter Roberts on 01943 46 3456 for more information.
