FROM a 90s blast from the past to tribute acts and a touch of magic, Yeadon Town Hall is getting ready for an eclectic February.

The month will get off to a fantastic start as Nostalgia presents a 90s dance reunion.

The event on February 5 features the legendary N-Trance DJ & MC Set. The show has already sold out, though any limited last release tickets will be announced via the town hall’s Facebook page.

A town hall spokesman said: "Next up, families of the local community will love the Circus Spectacular coming to the venue on February 13. Featuring unmissable circus artists, showstopping production numbers and plenty of comedy, the whole family will love this immersive, completely unique variety show.

"From circus shows to live music, there’s always something happening at the Town Hall. Calling Planet Earth, coming to Yeadon Town Hall on February 18, is a must-see show that simply defines a decade. Featuring all the greatest hits from the electrifying 80s, the show’s live band and incredible vocalists will take you on a musical tour of your favourite songs from artists such as Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, The Human League and many more.

"Having sold out shows for the past few years, Mercury is back for two nights in February too. The UK’s number one tribute to Freddie Mercury is going to raise the roof on 25th and 26th February, performing all your favourite Queen hits. The production is considered one of the world’s most authentic tributes to Freddie Mercury and Queen, delivering dynamic performances of crowd favourites such as Bohemian Rhapsody and Don’t Stop Me Now."

Jamie Hudson, Director of Yeadon Town Hall, said: “We’re going back to the 90s, 80s and beyond in February so, whatever your musical tastes, you’re sure to find a show to suit. Polish off your dancing shoes and rock along to Yeadon Town Hall this month.”

Looking forward to March, Yeadon Town Hall will be welcoming Yeadon Theatre Company to the stage once again. This time, the popular amateur dramatics society will present Kipps - The Half a Sixpence Musical from Thursday, March 17 to Saturday, March 19. Created by Julian Fellowes (Downton Abbey, School of Rock, Mary Poppins), and award-winning musical theatre writers George Stiles and Anthony Drewe (Mary Poppins, Wind in the Willows, Honk), the adaptation of Half a Sixpence brings the musical back to its literary roots. The show features all the best-known songs from the original, such as Flash Bang Wallop, plus some new toe-tapping tunes.

Following them will be Northern Live - Do I Love You? The authentic Northern Soul show will be visiting the Town Hall on Friday, March 25, performing over 30 fantastic hits such as Out On The Floor, Long After Tonight Is Over, Tainted Love and many more.

Tickets for Time Of My Life - The Dirty Dancing Inspired Dinner Show are now on sale. Happening every Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout September, audiences will enjoy an immersive dinner show and a three-course meal - all for £47.50. Following the mammoth success of last year’s ABBA Party dinner show (which returns this April), the team expect this event to be extremely popular.

The venue’s Spring / Summer What’s On guide will be available from the end of February, too, detailing the Town Hall’s programme of upcoming events. For more information, visit the website at www.yeadontownhall.co.uk
