INTERVIEWER became interviewee when the man behind the Back-Chat Collection talked about his own life.

Local historian Carlo Harrison, originally from Yeadon, set up the online audio archive to record the lives of ordinary people.

He said: "Well, it’s taken a while - three years to be exact - but finally Fiona Quinton persuaded me to be interviewed for The Back-Chat Collection. https://back-chat.org.uk/carlo-harrison,

"I hope you find my ramblings interesting and learn some things about me you didn’t know before. There’s a mention of my family of course, along with Peggy (of Ledgard’s fame), Mike Grace, The Beatles, Peates Mill, Watermark Productions and more.

"My beloved dogs Musket and Johnson feature alongside four marriages; horses; Aireborough Historical Society and my hardworking parents. I hope this interview will give you a pleasant 60 minutes of entertainment."

The audio archive has continued to grow despite the pandemic with interviews ranging from local to around the world.
