ILKLEY’S historic Manor House is a must-see festive visit in the run-up to Christmas.
Its beautifully decorated interior is a perfect setting for hand made gifts by artists of the Solar Gallery in one of the rooms.
The local artists have added Christmas decorations and presents to their displays of art, ceramics, woodwork, textiles, glass and print. These will be on show for the next three weekends, from 11am-4pm, until the Manor House closes for the winter on December 19.
As well as getting those last minute Christmas gifts the Manor House is also being turned into a real life Advent Calendar and the replica paper Advent Calendar is for sale in the house, Visitor Information Centre, Nora’s and the Grove Bookshop.
Next weekend is the last chance to see the Jack Hellewell exhibition in the Manor House’s Western Gallery too.
