THE PTA at All Saints School, Ilkley presented head teacher Mrs Michele Robinson and pupils at the school with a cheque for over £12,000 after fundraising throughout the school.

Mrs Robinson said: “This huge cheque presented by All Saints’ wonderful PTA, will enable school to redevelop the wooded area for Forest Schools activities, we can also create a fun play zone accessible all year round and erect a much needed bike/scooter stand to encourage more children to choose a healthy way of getting to school. This has been a monumental fund-raising campaign, especially during Covid, and all the children are going to benefit from the exciting and sustainable projects.”

PTA Chair and parent Lottie Haigh said: “We are so thankful to our wonderful school community for coming together to help raise the money needed to help with this project. It has been difficult to fundraise over the past year when all our usual social events could not take place. Thank you to everyone that helped us achieve this, we look forward to our children being able to use this new area and seeing the happiness it brings to them. The PTA would like to thank all local businesses and organisations that have helped achieve this through donations, we are lucky to have so many supporters and without you this wouldn’t have been achievable.”
