THE beloved Ilkley Beer Festival is returning in 2022, after missing a year due to Covid.

The 14th annual event will now be held on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th February 2022 at the King’s Hall. Organised by Ilkley & District Round Table, the festival offers over 20,000 pints of cask ales, craft beers and ciders, as well as wine, Prosecco and a popular gin bar. The event raises over £40,000, all of which is used to support local charities and good causes.

As well as the excellent selection of drinks, food will once again be provided by Lishman’s of Ilkley, with their famous pork pies, sausage rolls and pasties available throughout the weekend. To add to the entertainment and help celebrate the return of the festival, live music will be provided by Northern Epidemic (Friday evening), Alex Eva (Saturday afternoon) and Back Chat Brass (Saturday Evening).

Trevor Yong, Ilkley & District Round Table Chairman said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be able to bring this popular event back for 2022; we all felt it was sorely missed last year. Community is at the heart of everything we do in Round Table, and the Beer Festival has been a cornerstone of the Ilkley social calendar for over a decade now! We’re working hard to deliver a safe and secure event and have looked at ways to provide the festival in a more sustainable way, such as switching to online-only ticket sales. The support we have had for the event returning has been amazing and I’m excited for the festival to once again be a place where people meet up with old friends and make new ones.”

Tickets are now on sale for Friday Evening (5.30pm-11pm), Saturday Afternoon (11am-4pm) and Saturday Evening (5.30pm-11pm). More details on the Ilkley Beer Festival and how to book tickets can be found via the website at www.ilkleybeerfestival.org.uk.
