CHILDREN at a Wharfedale nursery have enjoyed their ‘graduation’.
Chapter one Childcare at Farnley held the annual ceremonial event, for children who are leaving to begin primary school this September.
The youngsters wore gowns and mortar boards for the occasion.
A spokeswoman said: "On Friday 27th August, we held our annual Graduation Ceremony for this years school leavers. The children sang and danced to some of their favourite 'minibeast' songs and were then presented with a certificate, framed photo of themselves and a Chapter One Teddy bear."
Chapter One Childcare has for the past few years been based at the former Farnley Primary School site, off Farnley Lane.
Set amongst woodland, the nursery makes the most of its setting by encouraging outdoor adventure and learning - including climbing, mud kitchens and problem solving games.
