Prince Henry’s Grammar School is welcoming a new intake of staff for the start of the school year.
Eight new members of teaching and associate staff have joined the Otley school, covering subjects from Chemistry to Geography, History and PE.
Executive Headteacher Janet Sheriff said:“Our new staff will enhance our existing excellent team of staff and help us meet the needs of our growing school. We are particularly pleased that the growth in our high achieving and friendly Sixth Form means that we have appointed a new Post-16 Director of Curriculum and Transition, Matthew Faulkner. It’s an exciting time for Prince Henry’s as we begin what we hope will be a return to normality in this new school year.”
“All our new colleagues are looking forward to meeting everyone, beginning with our upcoming Open Evenings.”
Prospective Year 7 students for September 2022 and their parents are invited to attend the school’s Open Evening on Monday, October 4 from 6pm until 8.30pm, where they can meet staff and enjoy an evening of activities, displays and taster lessons. Those wanting to join the school’s Sixth Form can attend the Sixth Form Open Evening on Thursday, November 4.
