A FREE school uniform swap will be held at the The Bridge United Reformed Church in Otley this month.
The church, on Bridge Street, will hold events between 10am and 2pm on Friday, August 13 and Friday, August 20. Entry will be at the front of the church on Bridge Street near the side lawn. Visitors should follow the signs showing the way in. Free refreshments will be served and can be enjoyed in the church garden. Bring good quality outgrown school clothes and find a replacement free of charge
.Church spokesperson, Tricia Cooke, said lots of uniform will have had little wear because of children being at home during the pandemic and many children may have outgrown uniform that has hardly been worn. Although this community outreach scheme is aimed primarily at the Otley primary schools, swaps will be welcome from further afield.
