THIS morning officers from Leeds North West Neighbourhood Police Team stopped a vehicle in Yeadon and found approximately £1000 worth of suspected heroin and crack cocaine on the driver.
The driver was arrested for possession with intent to supply class A drugs and an investigation has begun.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "The supply and use of illegal drugs is something we take very seriously and will continue to combat whenever encountered, to keep our communities safe from the devastating effects Class A drugs can have."
