RIBBLEHEAD Coffee Shop and Visitor Centre which is run by many volunteers from the Friends of Settle-Carlisle Line and managed by the Settle-Carlisle Community Rail Partnership is delighted to announce its reopening on Monday, May 17.

A spokesman said: “We are all delighted to be able to open this wonderful railway station and provide a much needed service to our customers who are often in need of some refreshments and a seat having enjoyed their walks and the sights of the historical Ribblehead viaduct.

“The Centre is open Monday to Sundays throughout April to October. It has sadly had to close during the pandemic but now we are able to welcome people back under COVID secure conditions.

SCCRP is also recommencing its refreshments trolley service on Northern trains from Monday, May 17 providing those customers who need to travel by train with refreshments and afternoon teas. Further details at: www.settle-carlisle.co.uk
