THE 2nd Otley Thursday Cub pack recently had its biggest ever investiture of new Cubs.
Mark Hargrave from the 2nd Otley Scout Group said: “A total of 13 Cubs were invested together which is the most we’ve ever done at one time.
“Like many Scout Groups the 2nd Otley has until recently been meeting on Zoom so it’s great to get back to outdoor face to face meetings.”
Since 1913, 2nd Otley Scout Group has been bringing people together to enjoy fun, friendship and adventure in a place they can belong.
A spokesperson said: “We help young people develop and improve life skills like resilience, initiative, independence and tenacity. Every week we encourage our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts to do more, learn more and be more.”
The youngsters are supported by dozens of adult volunteers.
