AIREBOROUGH Rotary joined up once again with the Guiseley Community Fund on their enterprising Healthy Holidays activity for 23 local primary school children, this time at Yeadon Westfield Junior School.

Rotary members and friends made lunches for participants with food donated by Fareshare. Surplus food went to the Trinity Foodbank.

Another lockdown month has seen members entertained by a series of interesting speaker,s including magician and cruise ship performer Steve Price and Thelma Wilson from Guide Dogs for the Blind. As a follow up to a recent speaker Anne Louise Orange and a donation to Autism Plus the club will be providing aprons for workers in their Belgian chocolate sample making workshop at Park House Barns.The first draw for the 100 Club, adding welcome funds supporting the club’s local and international charitable projects, saw all three winners coming from Friends of Rotary.
