TWO young residents of Grange Close in Ben Rhydding are raising money for Comic Relief.

Sisters Daisy Lowe, aged eight and Heidi Lowe, aged six, both pupils of Ashlands Primary School, have been using their free time in lockdown to keep fit by running up and down the footpaths of Grange Close.

With Comic Relief coming up they have been selling red noses to family and friends who may not have been able to get to the shops to buy their own red noses. Now they have set a target to run 10 miles between them on Saturday, March 20 and get sponsored to raise money for Comic Relief.

They are well on the way to raise £100 already.

Red Nose Day is back on Friday, March 19.

Thanks to donations, Comic Relief continues to make a difference to the lives of millions of people across the UK and around the world. The Covid-19 pandemic has made support for the fundraising campaign more important than ever.
