STUDENTS at Prince Henry’s Grammar created magnificent cakes to enter the school’s festive Bake Off.
Otley Mayor Cllr Peter Jackson joined the judging panel, alongside food technology teacher Jade Williams, who organised the competition, and faculty leader Alyson Blakeley. Year 7 Winner was Anja Balla with a Snowman Blizzard cake. In Year 8 Miriam Robinson also went with a Snowman theme. Year 9 winner Kitty Meggitt created fir trees and snow, on top of a sponge. Ellie Hinton was overall winner with a tower of snowy cake topped with gingerbread reindeer.
Ms Williams congratulated everyone who had taken part, adding: "We were really impressed with every single entry and the standard was incredibly high.
Cllr Jackson said ““I would like to congratulate each student who participated in the Bake Off. It was very difficult to select the winners, as each student is a winner themselves."
