ANOTHER four patients who tested positive for coronavirus have died in Bradford Hospitals in the past 24 hours.
The news brings the total such deaths in the district now to 531 - 369 at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, 160 at Airedale General Hospital and two at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.
A statement from NHS England said in the past 24 hours there had been a further 289 deaths from people who had a tested positive from the virus, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 40,197.
Of these, patients were aged between 27 and 100 and all except 16, aged 45 to 92, had known underlying health conditions.
Their families have been informed.
