A MENSTON beauty salon’s owners are helping people feel pampered during lockdown.
Sisters Kim Stockdale and Tiff Fawcett, from Apperley Bridge, started up Aspire Beauty & Skincare in 2012. The business was flourishing at the start of 2020 but has since experienced two periods of closure. During the first Covid-19 lockdown the pair put together some facial kits for clients, which proved a hit.
That spurred them on to create something more substantial and in July they launched a luxury pamper, skincare and subscription box online business, blondeandbrown.co.uk. The business involves the sisters hand picking the contents of their boxes and managing the whole process themselves - from sourcing the products to developing the branding, organising the logistics and even making candles and lip balms in their kitchens.
Kim said: “Our message is love yourself, treat yourself.”
