THE father of a baby girl who died in Keighley has paid tribute to his "brightest Star".

Jordan Hobson, the father of 16-month-old Star Alicia Hobson, who died on September 22, said: "To my beautiful daughter, you are so loved and are going to be so missed.

"The hurt I feel is not like anything I’ve ever felt. A piece of me is now missing.

"You are my brightest Star and always will be. I love you always.

"I will never forget all the times we spent together, all the joy we shared and the moment you came into my life.

"We will give you the most beautiful send-off anyone can deserve. I love and miss you my beautiful Star."

A Go Fund Me page in memory of baby Star is at gf.me/u/y2kvwp.

The person who organised the fundraising page, Amy Dignam, said: "As some of you may be aware, a beautiful little girl Star gained her wings on Tuesday, September 22.

"As a mum myself I can't imagine what the families are going through at this heartbreaking time.

"Therefore I have decided to set up a Go Fund Me so we are able to come together and help raise money towards giving the little angel the send-off she deserves.

"Only a moment you stayed, but what an imprint your footprints have left on our hearts."

In a show of support for baby Star, Mr Jordan is asking people to pay their own tribute at 7pm tonight.

Mr Jordan will be releasing balloons, but he said that people can also lay flowers or blow bubbles in memory of Star.

Due to social distancing measures in place, he said people can simply pay their own tribute on their doorstep.
