FOR the last 11 months many local customers of the Co-op in Ilkley have been pledging their charitable contribution as members to Friends of Ilkley Riverside Parks. The funds raised through this are put back into the materials and tools the Group needs to make the improvements to the park areas, which have been clear for everyone to see over the last 18 months.
FOIRP Chairman Ed Duguid said: “So far the fund has raised an amazing £2,023. However, there is still a month to go, so if you shop at the Co op you still have time to pledge your charitable contribution to FOIRP. It doesn’t cost you a penny to do this and you will be helping a great local cause!
