Crowds enjoying the 2019 Otley Vintage Transport Extravaganza
VINTAGE vehicle fans are being reminded that there will be no big transport rally in Otley this year.
The 2020 Otley Vintage Transport Extravaganza was due to take place on Sunday, September 13 - but was called off back in April because of the coronavirus pandemic. The event usually attracts thousands of enthusiasts to Knotford Nook to view displays of classic cars, motorcycles, trucks, buses and more.
It is the big annual fundraiser for local children’s charity Hang on to a Dream which is run, as is the extravaganza, by Town Councillor Nigel Francis.
Cllr Francis is hoping to stage the event again in 2021 when it is due to take place on on Sunday, September 12.
