‘ROUND TWO’ of the fundraising Otley Online Music Festival will get underway this week.
The festival, the brainchild of musician Paul Briscoe, staged its first performances on Friday, June 12. More local musicians will play on Friday, July 17 where they can be watched - from 7.30pm - at https://otleymusicfestival.wordpress.com.
Five acts will be taking part this time: The Redwood River Band, singer-songwriter Graeme Matthews, duo Elias Smith, Stramash and Benny Boy Slim, with viewers encouraged to donate - if they can - in appreciation.
Most proceeds will go to Otley Parish Church’s Local to Global campaign and The Woolpack Music and Arts Studios, with the remainder going towards supporting performing musicians. More than 200 people visited the site last time, raising over £300. Mr Briscoe said: “We got off to a very good start and are really looking forward to this month’s line up.”
