OTLEY Pub Club is urging customers to help local inns adjust as they start to reopen.

Pubs, cafes and restaurants - along with other venues including museums and cinemas - will begin to welcome customers again from Saturday, July 4.

Things will be very different to how they were before the COVID-19 pandemic, however, with inns and bars having to operate in what the Government is calling a ‘covid-secure’ way which will include using a table ordering service indoors.

Otley Pub Club Chair Rob Skinner said: “It’s welcome news that some pubs will be able to open again and we will do all we can to support those who can open and those that still can’t, or can’t do so viably. We know how hard Otley’s licensees are working to make arrangements to open pubs safely and all pub lovers must work with them to ensure we enjoy Otley’s pubs in a different way, until such time as they can all open fully again.”
