ILKLEY sewers have been making complimentary face coverings for Ilkley, and have made 1,500 so far.
They are available in Booths and Tesco in Ilkley and via Ilkley Good Neighbours and the Food Bank.
Face coverings on public transport will be compulsory from June 15 in England to help stop the transmission of coronavirus. In response the Ilkley sewing group has put together a webpage to help people make their own face coverings, with patterns, advice and a video to demonstrate.
