CHILDREN in Otley are being invited to help decorate a 'fence' in the centre of town.
Due to the coronavirus lockdown Otley Courthouse’s large wooden notice board area, which is usually covered in posters, is currently looking very empty. So the arts venue is asking young Otley residents to create ‘an interesting or inspiring picture that could feature in one of our poster frames’.
A spokesperson said: “We would like you to create an interesting or inspiring picture that could feature in one of our poster frames. The images will help cheer up our very dull fence and remind us of how great our community is.
“You can use pens, paints, crayons or colouring pencils.”
Designs should be on either A4 or A3 paper and in portrait format only. The competition runs until May 31 and is open to all ages.
Entries can be scanned or photographed and sent by e-mail to admin@otleycourthouse.org.uk.
