AN OTLEY firm is inviting people to enjoy a virtual tour of some of the region’s landmarks.
Due to the Covid-19 movement restrictions it will be some time before any of us will be able to enjoy a walk around a favourite monument, building or business. Apollo3D, however, believes it can offer some consolation via its collection of 3D virtual tours.
Available to view for free on its YouTube channel, the films give viewers unique insights into everything from ancient places of worship to revered cinemas and local businesses.
Apollo3D’s MD and founder, Mark Shepherd, said: “We have created 3D virtual tours of everything from helicopter flights to hotels, churches, schools and caves. I’m hoping these will but provide some entertainment, education, and information about our region and show support for the places that are currently closed.”
