A NUMBER of libraries - including Aireborough - have been closed in Leeds in response to the Coronavirus.
A Leeds City Council spokesperson said they were continuing to follow national guidance..
He added: “”These closures will remain in place until further notice. We will be monitoring developments and following government guidance with regards to when it may then be appropriate and practical for us to reopen our sites.
“In the meantime we will be developing our online content and will engage with people through our social media channels. We would also like to thank all our visitors and staff for their continued support and look forward to welcoming people back in future.”
The other closed libraries are - Gildersome, Whinmoor, Scholes, Boston Spa, Ardsley/Tingley, Holt Park, Farsley, Calverley, Oakwood, Chapel Allerton, Beeston, Kirkgate Market library site.
