THE DENIS Sharp Memorial Concert will be held at Ilkley’s Craiglands Hotel next month.
The event takes place on Friday, March 27 and will feature a performance from the Clifton and Lightcliffe Brass Band.
Proceeds from the evening will once again support the annual Stars for a Day event, which showcases talented primary school pupils, at the Kings Hall in May.
Tickets cost £15 and can be purchased by sending a cheque made payable to The Denis Sharp Bursary Fund, plus a stamped addressed envelope, to Mrs Elizabeth M Sharp at 11 Aysgarth Court, 3 Clifford Drive, Menston, LS29 6FY.
The venue’s bar will be open and tea and coffee will also be available.
The Stars event, organised by Mrs Sharp, gives a platform to local primary school children to display their musical and dramatic talents in front of a friendly but sizeable audience.
