A REVAMPED community website has been launched for Pool-in-Wharfedale.
The site, at http://www.poolinwharfedale.co.uk, has been given a fresh and new look and aims to be an inclusive information portal.
It has input from Pool Village Hall, the Riverside Park (RGMC) and the Sports and Social Club along with links to websites for the village’s clubs, churches, Parish Council, school and more.
A spokesperson for the website said: “If we have missed any community or association active in the village please let us know. We also want to support and promote the core village amenities: the Post Office, pharmacy and Half Moon Inn.
“In addition to being a website we will be publishing regular newsletters under the new name Pool Loop - with the aim of keeping residents in the loop with news and events.
“We will achieve this by linking to the Facebook groups Pool-in-Wharfedale e-news (now Pool Loop) and Pool-in-Wharfedale Village Group, which has well over 1,000 followers.”
