VICTIMS of Nazi concentration camps were remembered by MP Stuart Andrew when he signed the Holocaust Educational Trust’s Book of Commitment.
Mr Andrew, who represents Pudsey, Horsforth and Aireborough signed the book in the run up to Holocaust Memorial Day.
He said: “Holocaust Memorial Day is an important opportunity for people from Pudsey, Horsforth and Aireborough to reflect on the darkest times of European history. As the Holocaust moves from living history, to history, it becomes ever more important that we take the time to remember the six million Jewish victims and also pay tribute to the survivors. I was honoured to sign the Book of Commitment and I am grateful to the Holocaust Educational Trust for the hard work they do in ensuring the horrors of the Holocaust are not forgotten, but instead remembered with the importance it deserves.”
