HEADING into its 13th year, Ilkley Beer Festival is organised by Ilkley & District Round Table and will take place on Friday, February 7 and Saturday, February 8 at the King’s Hall and Winter Gardens, Ilkley.

Once again, dozens of Leeds and more locally-based businesses have kindly agreed to sponsor the 2020 event, with Murray Harcourt LLP in its second year as the main/headline sponsor.

The 2019 event raised over £45,000 with all proceeds from the event going to local charities, support groups and good causes.

Also returning in 2020 is the Thirsty Thursday Gin Shack session which will be held in the Winter Gardens on Thursday, February 6.

Over the weekend there will be over 120 beers and ciders available (including some of the finest from Yorkshire’s brewers) and also a pleasing selection of gin and wine. Brewery bars are always hotly contested, so again this year the organisers aim to bring a little surprise and excitement with some new faces and hope that those attending will again test the festival’s 18,000-pint capacity. Food will be available at the Beer Festival sessions from Lishman’s of Ilkley - who will again be providing a magnificent range, to suit all palates.

Beer Festival tickets are £7.50 for the Friday and Saturday night sessions, and £5 entry for the Saturday afternoon session. Thirsty Thursday Gin Shack tickets are £12.50, to include a welcome drink and souvenir glass.

Tickets for all Beer Festival and sessions are available online via EventBrite: http://bit.ly/IRTBeerFest2020 & ilkleybeerfestival.org.uk or locally at The Wheatley Arms and The Flying Duck, Ilkley.
