AN UP-AND-COMING student band from Otley is enjoying a busy start to 2020.
Men in Glass Houses, who reached the final of Breeze Has Talent last year, played a successful show at the Hyde Park Book Club in Leeds this week.
The group - made up of Prince Henry’s Grammar School students Harrisen Crowder, Marcus Dodd and Will McPherson - were supporting local band Supermarket Police. They also performed at a recent Friday Night Live in Ilkley while their EP, System Overload, has had nearly 10,000 streams on Spotify since releasing on January 1.
Faculty Leader in Performing Arts at Prince Henry’s, Peter Condry, said: “They’ve been working hard and it’s great to see the band beginning to take off. They are stalwarts here and we are looking forward to seeing them in our production, The Wiz, in February and at our charity bands night for Martin House Children’s Hospice.”
