1224 (Wharfedale) Squadron, Royal Air Force Air Cadets are currently recruiting.
A squadron spokesperson said: “We are looking for young people who might be interested in having a go at flying, gliding, target shooting and adventure training and learning more about teamwork, leadership, military skills and aviation.
“We will be hosting an Open Evening later this month where young people and their parents can find out more about what we do in the Royal Air Force Air Cadets.
“Young people in Year 8 or above are eligible to join.
“The Open Evening will take place on Thursday, January 30th at 7.15pm at our Squadron HQ on Ashlands Road in Ilkley, with potential Cadets and their parents all most welcome.”
