YORKSHIRE’S largest independent firm of chartered surveyors is celebrating a hat-trick of industry accolades.

Dacre, Son & Hartley’s survey department has passed its annual Quality Assurance audit, with exceptionally positive results. The audit noted that the business has identified customer service as being paramount, and that it has knowledgeable staff who are all passionate about the service they provide. The audit, carried out under the highly regarded UKAS ISO 9001 scheme, confirms that the survey department complies fully with its statutory and regulatory obligations, also that its management systems underpin its professional integrity and its commitment to continually improving service.

The six-strong team also received a top grading in the division’s latest RICS audit, due to the high level of competence evidenced throughout the business, and its commitment to fully upholding the RICS standards. Director James Wattrus, who is head of the survey department, said: “The RICS audit found that we offer outstanding levels of customer service, something that is echoed by the results of our most recent customer satisfaction survey, where 96% of customers would recommend our services.”

The final accolade for the survey department follows a recent audit by a national supplier of mortgage valuations that noted that the department’s experienced surveyors provided an excellent service, ranking it 15th in a national table of surveyors.

James added: “We are immensely proud of these results which confirm that all of the steps we have proactively taken recently to further enhance the business, have been successful.”
