AN expanding property firm is launching a branch in Keighley – creating new jobs.

Plush Homes UK opens an office in North Street on Monday, January 20.

The company, which runs a scheme to help first-time buyers become homeowners without the need for a deposit, was founded in 2014 by Richard Holmes and Jonathan Flynn.

Its Keighley branch will be in addition to an existing base in Wibsey, and an administration office in Manchester Road, Bradford.

Mr Flynn said the company was delighted to be opening an outlet in Keighley.

The expansion will also see a new branch launched in Dewsbury next month.

Mr Flynn added: “The Keighley office will allow us to help first-time buyers and families alike wishing to buy their first home in the town and surrounding areas. We will be employing more full-time staff for the Keighley and Dewsbury branches, in addition to those already employed at Wibsey.”

Between them, the company co-founders have many years’ experience in the property sector.

Mr Holmes’ father, Roy, was an estate agent in the 1980s. Mr Flynn began his career as a junior sales negotiator in 1989, before becoming one of the youngest valuer/managers in the country at just 17 years old.
