JAMES Hanson's cup semi-final goal against Aston Villa has been voted by T&A readers as the Bantams goal of the decade.
The targetman's header from a Gary Jones corner in the second leg of the Capital One Cup last-four tie sent City into a history-making Wembley final appearance in 2013.
And while there were arguably better goals among the 91 he scored for the Bantams, none had more significance than that memorable one at Villa Park.
Hanson's effort won the vote out of our five contenders with 41 per cent, with Billy Knott's thunderbolt against Leeds United claiming an honourable second place with 29 per cent.
The midfielder took the ball down with a great first touch before slamming home from just outside the box to equalise for City in their 2-1 League Cup win over their neighbours in 2014.
Mark Yeates was third on 21 per cent with his goal against Chelsea which capped off a famous 4-2 FA Cup upset.
Nahki Wells was fourth with five per cent for his screamer against Rochdale, while Kyel Reid was fifth with four per cent for his strike against Walsall.
